Hello everyone! As we enter the 2026 Wedding Season, I wanted to make an important announcement in regard to scheduling for all of our services. I am getting married on October of 2026. While I am beyond excited for my wedding the months leading up to the wedding, any month after June, I will have very limited availability this does not mean that I am not taking on new clients, but it does mean I cannot handle the capacity at which I have taken clients in the previous years. Once my wedding is past, I will resume taking clients regularly as I had formerly scheduled. Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding. I am very excited about this new life venture. For the past 5 years I have had the honor of witnessing hundreds of bridal and life milestones and for the first time I will get to experience my own.

Bridal Alteration Services
Pricing for any Bridal Alteration Services can start as low as $350-$500 and can range as high as $700-$900.
Please understand that there are a lot of key elements regarding your gown and the styling choices made in which you will choose to wear it that will determine various pricing ranges. Pricing will also depend on the style of gown, the gown's overall detailed properties (Beaded Lace Applique, Satin, Silk, Seaming, etc.),
and gown construction (from the inside-out). Basic Bridal Alterations Typically Included in the Following:
+ A Hem (Shortening the Length Across the Front)
+ A Bustle (An Attachment Method Used to Lengthen & Shorten the Train)
+ Tailoring of the Side Seams
+ Taking Up the Gown at the Shoulders
+ Tightening Across the Front Neckline
Any Additional Alterations Outside of the Generalized List Above Are Usually an Additional Charge.
Custom Bridal Design Services
Pricing for a Custom Bridal Gown will start as low as $2,000 and can range as high at $15,000.
This depends on the overall style of the gown as well as the following details listed below:
+ Cost of materials
+ Fabric Yardage
+ Layers to the Gown
+ Construction methodologies
+ Time frames, including the start to completion dates
+ Additional fittings and potential alteration adjustments
+ Hours spent designing and developing any patterns and embellishments necessary to create your dream wedding gown
+ Equipment
+ Any Embellishments that might require handwork or hand-made properties only
An Optional Bridal Sketch of the Gown Prior to Any Constructive Processes Will Require a $100 Non-Refundable Deposit.
Pricing For Custom Design Work on an Already Existing Bridal Gown or Custom Accessories in Addition to Bridal Alteration Services can start at $50-150 and range as high as $350 to $1500
These Custom Components Tend to include any of the Following Items Listed Below:
+ Embellishments (Beading or Lace Applique)
+ Permanent & Detachable Sleeves, Gauntlets, Cold Shoulder or Dropped Sleeves, Beaded Straps, etc.
+ Veils

+ Overskirts, Mini Skirts (Partial & Full)

Bridal Repurposing Services
Pricing for Repurposing Design Services start at $150 and can range as high as $700.
Garments that fall under the category of repurposing tend to involve aspects of physical gown reconstruction. This is a transformative process using memorial items and Bridal Gowns of loved ones to create a new garment or re-design an existing garment.
The Following List of Garments commonly involved in Bridal Restoration & Reconstruction are as Follows:
+ Newly Re-Designed Restored Bridal Gowns
+ Re-Designed Rehearsal Dinner Gowns
+ Re-Designed Receptions Dresses
+ Any Re-Designed Accessories (such as Shoes, Purses, Garment Accessories, etc.)

+ Family Heirloom Restoration
Please Note, these heirlooms and momentums are extremely delicate and may require the supplementation of materials in order to restore and repair them back to their original beauty. Any Item older than 20 years will most likely need an extent of cleaning and repair. The materials that may be used to supplement these repairs will never be a complete identical match due to sourcing materials in the current fabric market. While it will be the same type and style of materials there may be slight detectable differences due to updated technologies and methodologies used to create these materials in the fabric industry.

"When Should I Start My Alteration Process?"
Whether you are a Bride, Bridesmaid, Mother, Guest, OR Attending an Event or Gala, to ensure your Alterations are perfectly tailored we typically recommend that you should have your scheduled first fitting consultation 3 to 4 months prior to the date in which you need to wear your garment. As proper alteration practice we will then schedule you for a second or follow-up fitting consultation to ensure a perfect fit. As courtesy to all clients, we like to have all of your alterations completed approximately 1 month prior to your wear date.

+ A First Fitting Consultation should be scheduled 3 to 4 months prior to your expected wear date
+ Expect to be able to schedule a Second Fitting Consultation to check the fit of the garment
+ This timeframe applies to all garments that need tailoring
+ We like to have all alterations completed 1 month prior to your expected wear date
"What Is an Appropriate Time to Inquire About Scheduling a First Fitting Consultation?"
Please consider the month in which you need your garments tailored for as some months will acquire a fuller agenda compared to others. To ensure that we can secure you an appointment time please consider inquiring about scheduling 2 to 4 weeks prior to your ideal first fitting consultation time frame. Months that are typically more popular for alterations are April, May, June, August, September, & October. Months that are typically slower for alteration requests are January, February, March, July, November, & December. While some months are more popular than others, even in the less busy months please still consider contacting us 1 to 2 weeks prior to your first fitting time frame to schedule.

"What Happens if I Can Not Meet the 3 to 4 Month Appointment Time Frame?"
If you need to schedule a first fitting consultation and you are already less than the advised time frame, we are still more than happy to have you as a client! Please understand that under certain circumstances the closer to the wedding the more difficult it can be to get scheduled for a first fitting consultation as well as a second fitting consultation due to time constraints. All clients are required to have at least 2 scheduled fittings. If you are already less than the recommended window for scheduling, we advise that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule an appointment time as we may be scheduling out 1 to 2 weeks depending on your expected wear date. If you are less than two months prior to your wedding date an additional rush fee will have to be applied to your alterations on top of the existing charges for the alteration services. All fees and pricing are addressed in the service pricelists under their respective service tabs on the Dernier Cri, LLC. Website. Please understand that while we wish we could help all of our wonderful clients, unfortunately due to certain appointment time limitations we cannot always take all clients that inquire for appointment reservations.

"What Should I Expect to Budget for Alterations?"
In terms of pricing for any of our services all prices will vary depending on the services you are booking. Listed below will be the average costs of all of our services and what to expect in terms of pricing:

+ Bridesmaid Alterations - Average $150.00
+ Mother of the Bride | Groom Alterations - Average $150.00
+ Prom Alterations - Average $130.00
+ Guest & Special Occasion Alterations- Average $130.00

+ Casual Wear Alterations - Average $100.00

Please understand that these are average costs that do vary. Any of the services that you reserve may cost more or less than the general average, listed above, and is based off of the attention your garments may need.
"What Should I do to Prepare for my First Fitting Consultation?"
After scheduling your first fitting consultation you will need to collect the following items to bring to your first fitting. If you do not have certain items, we may not be able to proceed with the fitting & pinning portion of your consultation. We recommend that you bring these items not only for the client to get a complete vision of themselves for their event, but so that we can get the most ideal fit possible for your special day.
+ Shoes
+ All undergarments that you plan on wearing underneath your gown
+ Veil
+ Jewelry
+ Additional Accessories
"What Will Happen If I Cannot Make It to My Fitting?"
Did something come up? Are you not feeling well? Omg, I Completely Forgot! I'm Running a Little Late.
No worries at all, life happens and we completely understand!
If you can, please try to give at least a 24-hour notice if you will not be able to attend your fitting consultation. While we understand somethings in life come out of nowhere or the time may get away from you, we do have a cancelation list so the sooner you know you can't make it the better it is to let us know. We do not charge penalties or fees for any rescheduling or lateness, but please be aware that any excessive rescheduling may result in a possible rush fee or any excessive lateness may result in a shortened appointment time frame. If you have a scheduled appointment and do not show up and then proceed to contact us after your appointment reservation to schedule a new fitting consultation, a fee will be attached to your bill upon your new appointment reservation. If you do not show up to an appointment and do not contact us after your appointment reservation, we consider this a full cancelation. We do send a booking confirmation immediately following the initial scheduling of the appointment with our address and contact information, and we do contact you for a follow up if you do not show up to an appointment.
